If you are looking for something to eat motorway miles up in I would say a TD5 is your best bet. My 300TDi will do 70 if I make it but it is not fun.

Maybe. I dunno though. They have ground the chassis number and all Id off of the vehicle, sprayed it a different colour and put different wheels and tyres on. So I assume they were going to attempt to sell it.
