I think the performance will be a lot better with the egr and air mass metre delete with a mechanical pump retro fitted on.

Looked on eBay and the Bosch ones are £40, this was £16 delivered, anybody else using these programmable 3-30 second intermittent wiper relays.

The air mass metre is f@&£ed hence conversion back to manual pump, why would I keep it for the mot ?.

I’d like to change the fuel pump on a disco 1 auto back to a manual pump and remove air mass metre, what is the best way/modification to still have the kick down facility ?. TIA

I think I’ve found the leak, dripping from water pump gasket, just noticed my defender doing it as well.

Good idea, I think I’m going to also seal up windows as replacing the felt seal is rather involved as I’ve just found out.
