would that make it intermittant? it could be i recon they need a decent clean. nothing has been looked after on it untill i baught it now im catching up on problems..

i was wondering if it could be an air lock, i doubt its gunk as i put all fresh fluid into it and the old fluid wasent too bad bit thin but not too dirty, and its up to the correct level...

i dont understand how the belt could make it pull to the left... its got new belts and they are all tight... well i hope they are still i will check again me thinks. cheers

nope not a clue how to seat them properly do u have any advice i can do mort jobs as i worked as a mechanic for a while but managed to never work on a landy till i owned one, i want to replace all the pads on it when pay day comes too tempted to do the discs too

i had no passanger haha, i will check the pads but surely my brakes wouldent be as good? they feel fine..

i just been out in my 90 went about a mile and everyso often there is a squeel coming from the front passanger side... it also pulls to the passanger side then it stops.. i have just replaces the power steering pump and im wondering if its something to do with that... my other thaught is that it...

it just dont seem to be that sort of sound... i just noticed that my ball joint on the bottom of my steering arm looks a bit worse for ware.. could thismake the sound beceuse its not doing it if i dry steer.. so i cant see where it is coming from cheers jake

hi all i have a clunk coming from my steering on my 200tdi 90 it only does it when im moveing and i think it may be coming from the drivers side... any ideas? cheers jake

have u tryed cleaning the injectors?, i dont have a td5 but it cured the exact same problem on my 200tdi jake

it got alot worse i was on my way to work and it was chucking out smoke, i limped down the motorway at 35mph, but change over the injectors today and it is sweet as a nut now :-)

i have a land rover 90 wiv disco 200tdi in it no matter what the weather it turns over a tiny bit and it fires up with no problems just a little puff of black smoke, but i went to start it this morning and it turned over and over and just before i thaught the battery was about to die it fired up...

wow that does not sound too good i think i will have a bash at doing it myself, t will definatly be cheaper but i think i will buy the repair panels to save me the hastle of making them, i spose that way i dont have to strip the thing apart as much..

im still thinking about which way to go with it, im a welder by trade so i should do the repairs myself and i could probs make up the repair panels myself at work, i was just trying to do the lazy option :-S

i did my disco transfer box on the road parked outside my house, was a pain cuz i had to do it in the evenings when it was dark, but it came out fine after i realised i had missed a bolt, and the other one went in perfect.
