The viscous fan needs a shroud I have been told, I have a 200 tdi in a 1984 PU 110. The are very efficient with a shroud not so much without. have you checked changed the thermostat? I had a small leak sitting in storage, still waiting for time to check which hose.

At one point mine failed the sending unit in the tank a replacement fixed the issue. Otherwise wiring & the gauge, the ground.

older round (small hole) wiper box: PRC8495 Newer oval (large hole) wiper box: DKU500010 I have up to 1987 & post 1987 fiche that lists prc8495 & rtc4480 mentions difference of pinch bolt or grub screw? Maybe TD-5 was later. I will ask next week about the newer oval large hole wiper box.

So instead of welding the tunnel position on bulkhead what I was going to do you say bolt it up to make more room later. Okay.

The wiper hole in bulkhead is much bigger than the small round hole in original earlier, do you use a different mechanism? The transmission tunnel center bit may need to be shifted over seems.

Those wing attachments are tricky a combination of extensions what ever can fit in there. Sometimes it is helpful to walk away come back later with a new idea, let it cook overnight.
