on my 90 300tdi whilst under load either accelarating or decelerating against the gear there is no noise and everything seems fine but if the engine runs faster than the gear selected it makes a grinding rumbling noise, also if leaving a slip road from higher speeds and braking the noise is at...

thanks people! personally ive gone for the "practical approach" im sure it would or could look better but for the money and for what i use it for... and i still have enough rubber matting to replace 2 of them if needed... i took it out last night and drover through a few tight openings with...

the top pic looks slighty saggy but only due to me running out of washers for extra fixxings, and need a slight trim to get the finished curves but thats it :)

well its all done! i took a trip down to my local army surplus store and found some 5mm thick anti vibration rubber matting i bought 2 sheets roughly 1.5m x 1m for £15! :) a box of self tappers £4 and some penny washers £0.50 oh and some nice sharp stanley blades £3.00 total cost - £22.50...

ive had a search already and supprised that i didnt find my answer.... my question is? ive just put 33-12.5 tyres on an now need arches but i would like a very wide stance so i need an arch around 5-6" wide, ive seen the QT jobbies but cant i just make some out of black 5mm rubber and screw them...

im after the above in a wrap around (protecting the lights) and prefrably within 100 miles of plymouth???
