    Dilemma....defender or classic range rover??

    I was going to say the very same thing, a Discovery 1 would be the perfect compromise. I've had a few Discovery's, but the best was a 1997 1.5 3.9 V8i One of them running on LPG would be the best all round Land Rover for me.

    I used a lot of Britpart items on my show-winning Discovery 1.5 3.9 V8i and never had an issue. Never used anything electrical of theirs, which I know people who have had lots of issues with.

I thought it was a problem with the accelerator as every so often when you go to pull away you can put your foot to the floor and nothing happens at all, no movement and no sound.
