I am going to look in a weeks time when I am back, ( I am not driving it this week any way) it is due a cam belt change as well so I will go ahead and look at all of it. I assume that if the shaft is knackered then it would be a case of taking the engine apart and replacing the part.

It may well have already damaged it I guess, how would I get out of the worse situation?

Oh and it does look like there may be a small leak from the cambelt housing drain hole.

I have just had a nother quick look, the 4 bolts are tight I cant move the large bolt with my fingers but the deep spacer/washer behind that is loose and the section that the pulley bolts too is loose too, all as one piece. I can turn it as well about 1/16th of a rotation leaving the bolt...

My Crank chaft pulley is a bit wobbley when I grab it and move it. What could the be, I get the feeling it is going to be a big job!

They are very light springs for the reverse, you just get used to it. My wife always puts mine in reverse untill she gets used to it again.

Yes I think so, I adjusted to so it comes on much sooner and used WD40 on the button so it is a bit more free, I have not had a problem with it, I am sure if I had I would have known about it as I would have found the care moving down hill whenever I park it!

Well, I think I have sorted the problems out, I am going to try and get a retest tomorrow, if not then I will have to wait untill next week because I am away working. I will look into reporting them.

Yes that is correct! aparently you can wiggle it violentley and it pops off again also does not always lock(sticky button) and it has no spare travel (needs a little adjustment)

Just spoke to the guarage again, he recons that because he came up with a failure they did not carry on with the test at all. Silly as the problemn is with the handbrake handle and it is not related witht the foot brake at all. Does that make sence to you guys too?

I stayed during the test, adn they did it on a scond bay arround the corner so I could not see what they were doing all the time. They only have a 2 wheel tester next to the bay I could see and they did not apear to take it out except when they moved it in it took them a minute or so to move it...

Check you facts before you go adding methanol, that is only part of the proces to making Bio diesel.

I think you can, but I have not tried it. There is a website somewhere that tells you all about diesel engines and bio, but I don't know what the site is.
