ordered my new alternator, give the parts company all my details... Model, year, and vin numbers.. asked if it ok for my vehicle, reply was 'yes'! so i payed for it , they posted it, and i got it today.. guess what!! yep you got it, wrong one!! it all looks the same as my old one, but the plug...

And easy fer the yobbs tu put a knife through un pinch yer gear!!:(

I would take it to a good aircon specialist, not cheap though, at least you'd know one way or another! as a guess, i would say it was the a/c.

When i bought my gaylander, it also came with a free swimming pool in the back.. i just empted it out, dryed it wiff an hair dryer, left it open to get the air to it (summer time) and its been dry ever since, i did notic that the lid is plastic, and is fond of condensation!;)

Al.. You can have a copy of my CD if you like... The CD aint a lot better than the manwell, un yep, there all the same.. Have you tried a volt meter on the window conections, just to see if you have power there! Got the Alternator off today, now i waiting fer the new wun to arrive!:rolleyes:

Just bin havin a look at takin off the Alternator, but i see theres a speshal bit o kit, like a leaver, to slacken orf the tenshuner while ya remove the pully belts.. Do i 'have' to use use it, or can i make do wiff something else!!;) Has any of ya took ya belts off, if so, wot did you...
