    Rust and checkered metal

Should have said that really.. :s You can plate over the top, or let it in, it's up to you, looks better set flush though :) As for the arch, get back to good metal, then cut the new piece to length, bend it to shape and weld it in. Happy days :D

    Rust and checkered metal

Personally I'd plate the holes up. If they are that small why Not have a go yourself? Do you know anyone that will lend you a mig? Worth a play :p If it all goes ok then it's not cost you anything... And if not... Then get a pro to do it haha.

    lift kits

I had 35s on my 110 before I lifted it, but they rubbed nearly every time I cornered. Bigger tyres usually mean you will end up doing camel cuts or putting a lift kit on anyway :p

    lift kits

We've done a few lifts, generally 2 inch, all the 300 tdi's Ive done have been discos and we changed the rear prop to ones from a 200 tdi as they have no doughnut. Not sure if its the same on a defender 90.? Have used britpart spings with pro comp shocks, bearmach with pro comp, terriferma...
