Whats needed to have better head lights ?

had problems with starter motor, removed and noticed the spring has broken ! Can any one help where I can source one or maybe someone has a spare. its a 2.25 petrol.

Where is the best place to store a high lift jack on my series 2/3

um.................... just refilled 16mpg. thats driving carefull !!!

Had a look at carb did a small adjustment its set up properly now and is picking up much better in 2/3&4.. Will post mpg when I refill.

My landy series 3 engine seemed to be using a lot of fuel and the weber carb was due a service, called in at Landrover Orhanage and Rchard had a new bolt on carb bought one put it on......... umm ....... seems to run smooth but has no go on the hills or pick up from verry low speeds in gears 2 /...

Im not keen on selling to get a 90 as I quite like the fact its tax free !!

As before will the 300 tdi engine fit ? please someone.

I might have a chance on a 300 tdi are these engine ok to go in ?

Will the 200tdi engine bolt onto the series 3 gearbox. ?

My landy is a 1959 series2 its running a 2.25cc engine im thinking in changing it for more power and better mpg. Would putting a 200 tdi engine in be worth doing ? I already have a 90 bonnett and grill flush with front wings. So loads of space. What would you do or recomend.

Ive now found out i have a clutch of a series 3 ! so slave cylinder is ok. The master cylinder is still a mistery though.

I have removed both slave cylinder and master clutch cylinder, both look ok, I decided to pop in at the Landrover Orfanage ( 5 miles away ) to get seal kits for both. The seal kit for noth did not look right, got home and I think that both cylinders are not correct ? Clutch master cylinder has...

I Have removed the slave and checked seals all ok re-bleed system, took landy out for a drive, the clutch was ok for a couple off miles then it would not change gear. pumped the clutch pedal and managed to get into gear. I think it must be the master cylinder ( seals leaking ) what do you think... ?

It should of been `pump the clutch pedal` its been a hectic week.

I had aproblem changing gear, had to pumb brake pedal to get in gear Ok for a while changing gear then had to pump the pedal again. Decided to bleed the clutch at the slave cylinder, took for a test drive started off ok then had problem engaging gear....... drove up a slight incline put into 4...

So has any body fitted this corsa power steering on to a series.

My landy series 2 has leaf springs that go under the axles on the front and back, should they go over axle ? The rear of landy looks to be lower.

Maybe you could adapt a brake ballance bar and run 2 brake master cylinders, one for front and one for rear. As fitted to the Marcos cars. You can adjust the brack ballance force front to rear. Try merlin motor sport.
