Update So stripped pump off the car and found the problem. When I’d put the steering pump in the drive flanges were not lined up properly and snapped off so no drive to the pump. New pump on order now. Thanks for all the help

Thanks I will order these clips as well. If i was to block off the egr how can i get a software update? I have asked this in garages already and they say they won't do this. Can i get a flash drive type plug to do this or does someone have to do it with a computer ? thanks john

Hi So filled correctly now and up to temp. Drove it overheated. Bottom of thermostat is red hot top and hose to radiator and radiator stone cold. Thermostat Would be my guess. Still no flow to heater and this concerns me as thought even with thermo shut there would be. Ordered thermo so...

I’ve not touched it yet but always had strange problems with the heating. Doesn’t look like it’s been changed ever. How will I know which way round it should be. Just seems strange that before I changed the water pump car took ages to heat up but now it’s not right as heats up straight away...

Do you think d be better changing the thermostat as well. Seems really odd that i can remove heater hose and there is no water flow even when motor reved up. Slightly confused by this. Will start with bleeding system and go from there. Thanks

Hi Im now convinced its the cooler leaking so am going to block off the EGR altogether. SO some more questions Is egr removal legal? Will the car pass an MOT Should i leave pipework in place and just block off so it looks normal? How do I get a EGR patch for remapping if I buy one go the GAP...

yes no bubbles or anything from the water .

SO After searching I think the best solution is to fit a egr blocking kit and the just connect the water in and out on the coolers. Does this sound like the easiest option as it seems changing the valve and cooler isn't the easiest of things. Again thanks in advance

So now searching online about the EGR valve cooler. Would it be the cooler or the egr valve leaking as not sure. And any ideas how i would check which one is leaking as there are two. ? thanks
