Hi nodge was correct bad connection it was on the black plug that plugs into the blower cleaned them up with a small screwdriver and made them a bit tighter by just pushing them together with the tip of the screwdriver all working perfectly now thanks for your help and advise

Hi thanks for the reply yes freelander 1 td4 Blower works on all speeds and then stops Working on all speeds so suspension is motor or connection issues will investigate and update post thanks again

hi my air blower work sometimes When it stops I give it a tap with my Left foot and it starts again is this loose Connections of a more common fault That’s well known thanks for your help

Hi grumpygel I know nothing about the l series is it a good type of engine is it more basic easy to fix less complicated? but to be honest I only know about the td4 because I have been driving it for a year so you have to learn a bit then the information from this site and kind members

I have taken most of the interior out the auto And fitted it to my freelander also alternator all the electric windows and lots of other small bits and bobs but I know the auto box is good and the prop etc so I will do as you advise and try and sell them thanks again
