I believe there is a rubber donut between the prop and diff. These can split.

Changed cubby box lid for a much better condition one.

Fitted a new rear tailgate handle. All working now. Also got the front auxilliary socket working.....just a fuse. Ooh and fitted l.e.d. bulb that i found rattling around my toolbox in the front interior light.

I believe manual has shims and auto does not. Plenty on here about starter motor interfering with crank signal. Have a search.

You have to apply for the logbook v5 on a salvage car. I have bought cat n, d and c with no issues. Cat c was stolen recovered with spare wheel and one headrest missing! I believe it is factory fitted. Genuine is an expensive part. A well known auction site is your friend. Search auto silicone blank. I think 20mm is the size you need.

I used copper pipe lagging on mine held with cable ties!

Fitted D4 secondary turbo oil drain pipe modification. What a b!#&h to remove and refit the starter motor on the drive.

Repair kits available on Ebay. Search discovery 2 EAS repair kit. I have used this previously when a pipe rubbed through on mine. Very easy to fit.

So the new purchase is biting back already. Tried to remove locking wheel nuts today. Rears no problem. But i now have 1 front that is spinning:mad: and the other side seized solid. Any ideas/ best way to remove?
