    Hello from Fife

From the other side of the loch... I edited out the video when I realised it was the wrong Ben Lomond!

    Hello from Fife

We used to camp near Rowardennan years ago, before all the numpties caught on and got it banned!

    Hello from Fife

Hello from another fellow Scot, now living in... Scotland. I don't have a house in St. Monans but we did have a caravan in Leven when I was a boy! :D

Nope. I've admitted defeat, it's going to the professionals!

    |Brake disc screw Torx size?

Been doing that for ages, drilling right through the screw now to make sure it’s not as @Beneagles suggsted then I’ll try the hammer again

    |Brake disc screw Torx size?

Drilled off the head, actually think I might have drilled too much

    |Brake disc screw Torx size?

On the screw? Yes I did. That’s not the problem now though, the disc itself is seized on to the hub

    |Brake disc screw Torx size?

Got the right tool but still had to drill it out. Now the disc is seized solid. I’ve tried hammering, plus gas, and heating with a blow lamp, tried the nut & bolt through the carrier trick to push it out and broke one m8 bolt and bent the other. Any other ideas? I don’t want to get too...

    Wiper boxes- wrong ones?

The ones I took out are the same as the new ones I’m putting in, I just wanted to know if there was a better way.

    Wiper boxes- wrong ones?

I tried refitting the new ones again. Seems the previous owner had them fitted so the wider inner end of the spindle just butted up to the inside hole. It looks like it’s far enough through, I’ll take photos later, I’m working I’m the caravan just now.

    Wiper boxes- wrong ones?

The motor etc worked with this setup before, as far as I can tell the whole system is the old type, they’ve just not put the shafts through properly before. I’d have thought drilling the existing holes round would allow me to fit them better. Can you see any problems with that?

    Wiper boxes- wrong ones?

@jamesmartin if I can pick your brain... do you see any problem with drilling the bulkhead to fit the older wheelboxes? I’ve done an older one before but can’t remember, do they just have round holes in the bulkhead?

    Wiper boxes- wrong ones?

Yes, I bought the old type some time ago, the motor's been off the road for a while and I've been working on it on and off.
