I get that. However, it’s a case of what if something goes wrong. No doubt insurers will look to hang blame somewhere. And if something goes catastrophically wrong, what then? We’ve all helped others and believe it or not, I’m not trying to discourage it, just putting something up for thought.

Would it be a willing acceptance of risk on both parties if you undertook a tow out unless the stuck party signed a disclaimer? And what qualifications did the person trying to help have? What insurance to undertake the activity was in place? What if a third party was injured? Then who is...

I fitted the same battery this time last year. No issues with it so far… It’s bigger than the standard in terms of physical size too so you won’t fit two in the seat box if you have a split charger. It’s on offer as well.

The injector pump sprung a quite significant leak. Looks like a new one is on the cards in a few weeks… 🙄🙄. I’ve looked at prices and they’re over £500!😳

I learnt to drive in 1994 with my series 3. It was insured with my dad as main driver as he used it more and it still cost £400 back then. With the figures you’re quoting, I’d strongly suggest you get a year or two of driving experience on a smaller cheaper car unless you’re well off financially...
