Have a roll along but it's heavy to work with when full, plus lifting it on and off the truck when going to fill it etc, I take two 25 ltr plastic drums as well

Afternoon Showers here and cool I'm researching water tanks to go under the caravan, fed up with humping water containers about I got some square tubing to go across the chassis for the tank/tanks to sit on (fill em up on site) Shovelled half a ton of stone into the back of me old truck today...

Would have done five years ago, too old for it now mate 🙂

Well. Mirrors done, works pretty well and I can remove the extension pieces when I get to the show

Having to extend my truck mirrors by 10" each side so as I can see around me caravan Which means making some temporary bracing bars :rolleyes:

Mornin Bit of a dull start Prepping caravan for weekend at Smallwood steam etc show Genni going in, need to get petrol, got two bottles of gas and two big batteries :) Weather not looking too good but I got boots and an umbrella :D Stay busy all :)

Well my arms are bruised and ripped but the starter motor has been changed 😎 Needed to remove the dashboard and steering column then loosen the brake master cylinder to gain acces to the bolt on the engine side. New starter a lot better and hopefully no more clicking starter when I need it most 😃

The exhaust brake on my old 77 DAF 2800 would lock the back wheels unit only in the wet Am I right in thinking a Jake brake shuts the exhaust valves ?
