I dont think you want to disconnect the MAF as you will suffer from a lack of low down power in a big way. As for the egr have a search but search for "egr valve" as 3 letter searches dont work.

Hopefully its not a td4. Seems like the clutch hydraulics go way before the actual clutches but if its a td4 to change slave you need gearbox out so may as well do clutch at same time. Hopefully its just hydraulics.

A turbo will only really generate positive pressure/boost when under load. It wont create any pressure on tickover. You need to use a pressure gauge on the road and see what it is reading. I am no expert but have had a few turbo cars (diesel and petrol) and I have had a turbo go on a petrol car...

Not to up on 1.8 petrols but I have had problems on other fuel injected cars. Losing power under load sounds like either a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump or a faulty fuel regulator. Hopefully one of the above will cure the problem.

I take it you are aware that the search facility doesn't work in Firefox browser! It does within individual threads but not on a whole section like the Freelander forum. Any idea who might be able to fix it as searching in vBulletin powered forums does normally work in Firefox.
