Egr valve very common fault the lost coolant usually evaporates off so you don't know where its going. Look up LRTIME egr valve

The d4 v8 is a 5.0 petrol on import only. There are v8 d3s about but very rare. Buy it if you want it......

Bonus when they fix them self's, the hevac blend motor always runs a cycle on opening the door or unlocking it not so sure about the windows

Hevac blend motor its comming from behind the centre vents you can remove them then the motor give it axstrip down and clean refit and your good to go.

D5 has air suspension you cannot compare the d5 to a range rover completly different ride experience. Only thing you can do it try taller tyres but you have a commercial so I doubt you have drug dealer wheels n tyres anyways.

Welcome, there are actually some very good YouTube vids on these engine from the States. The 5.0 sc has a known timing chain guides issue look for lr4 5.0 etc. Good luck

Yes the early ones had an issue think it was todo with the fuel more than anything.

The jag v8 in 4.2 and 4.4 is there most reliable engine. Iv got one of each :cool:

No probs Gary, it's been OK for a cheapy pump plus bracket . My bracket had disintegrated. At that price if I need a new pump every 2/3 years it's not so bad. Its a service item any ways.
