Apparently, the York is the best one for oba;) I think, as you mentioned, its size is the drawback but would certainly out perform any a/c compressor!

I have seen that guys who have done this mod, fit a small oil reservoir & filter to prevent the compressor from packing in. Im still trying to get my head around doing this but so far the project certainly looks feasible;)

Seen a few ideas like that! Well worth considering if it has enough volume;)

TBH, I like the idea of what could be pretty good performance for a relatively reasonable cost (discounting my labour:D) To be fair, I have never seen a good quality electric compressor in action, only the cheaper variety and to be expected they are just too slow!

I made an adaptor to to fit the two holes on the steering wheel and that then attached to a slide hammer;) Works every time,first time!

Well happy with the mountney I fitted today;) Handles a lot tighter! For those seeking confirmation, the early 90's & 110's use the mountney boss number 115.
