Hello guys, i need a bit of help regarding my central locking on my p38. When I unlock it from the remote only the doors will unlock and lock and when I open it with the key only the drivers door will unlock. I have been trying to find the answer on here but cant seem to do so. Thanks Luke

thank you for all your responses, I have checked them with a multimeter today but engine was hot and it wasnt giving a reading, there seems to be air in the fuel line coming from the fuel filter, it has always took around 7 seconds to start but if i start it up to move it turn it off then back...

yes it was a fiddly job i lost a few nuts along the way and had to make 2 trips to halfords to get the replacement, my local 4x4 garage wanted £230 to change them so I am happy i have saved the money! :)

Hello Guys, I successfully changed the glow plugs on my p38 today however it is still not starting straight away, i have to crank it for about 6-7 seconds before it will start. Does anyone have any ideas what else the problem could be as I have spent over £15.00 per glow plug and still stuck...

where is the cheapest/best place to get the gaskets from? are they the round ones that go on the bottom of the manifold? also what tools will I need to do this, im going to buy all the tools today at once as i was changing the rocker cover gaskett last weekend and ended up going to halfords 4...

PS the car is now dead displaying gearbox fault and engine disabled and when I lock it the rear doors are just clicking constantly. I have called the rac maybe they can jump start me and test the battery...
