Ok... taken thermostat off.
Ran water through radiator, came through clean, smooth no probs!
Put thermostat in bowl of HOT tap water, boiled kettle, took thermo out and slowly poured boiling kettle water into back of thermostat (not the rad entry side, but the 3 pipes entry side) holding...
Little pipe definitely clear to expansion tank. Easy to test by squeezing top pipe, that shows water coming into expansion tank from the little pipe. Plus when its running there is constant flow.
Bear in mind I have ONLY run the car for 5-7 mins 3 times since the expansion tank emptied due...

I felt the pipes coming out of rad and into/out of thermostat, not pressured and not that warm either.
Only been running short periods as noticed this problem after car had been off road due to EAS needing reset and flat battery. Was giving it all a once over…

Oh yeah, top hose feels pressured, but not rock hard.
Nor do any other hoses feel that hard, but they are hot, and the water with a finger dip feels very hot, but can't tell the actual temp, it steams a little from expansion tank.
They all flow out with the cap off? Is that right??
It does not run hot at all no, temp guage never goes above about 1mm to the left of center of the gauge.
The pipe back from rad must be clear as it's flowing back into expansion tank.

Pump was on about every 20-30 seconds. Came home tonight, pump on once for about 2 mins, and car was still sat at full ride height anyway.
Ok, starting a new thread on this, to keep it focussed and deal with the route cause of my recent problem.
EAS has been reset, car now back to working ride heights. It's been sat at full height overnight and no drop in height on any airbag.
BUT... when running the engine, the EAS pump comes...
