Ok, you have all said enough for me to decide to sort out the tyres. What make of tyres would you lot recomend? (90% road work, 10% of driving on tracks and fields.) Starting with the cheepest first please!

Didn't relise that but makes sense when you think about it. I only have two tyres the same make and they are on the diagnal! Says alot about the garage that I brought the landy from!

Diesel certainly does run down your arm no matter what you do! Found loads of gunk in the bottom compleate with lumbs of mud! Not too happy about that!:(
