When you say "don't worry about experiance", what about "never done it before" type lack of experiance? :o Would it be an idea to carry tools etc, or would there be some one who would already have some? (I don't have any tools.)

I have a 1997 300Tdi manual, it also gets quite hot in the centre. Does that mean that there is yet something else wrong with my landy? I took it be normal and remember not to put things like lipsovle and chocolate there!

However, if the part is unused with orginal packaging and receipt, you can get a refund regardless. Retail law - as long as it is with in stipulated number of days (sometimes 7, 14 or 28 days). Alturnitively, inspect the part before perchase.

I did my disco 300 dti, seams to have solved the loose of power when towing and I do get more miles to the tank.

I blanked mine off and have not seen any improvement in power when not towing. However, I now actually make it up hills while towing and I do get about 30 miles to the first half tank extra. For the £7 it costs and the 10 min to do it, it wouln't harm.
