the fobs seem to be working fine for there correct alram units and ecus so the fobs are fine mate :) wheres the receiver? i thought it was round the ignition barrel?? interesting do you do this is the drivers door lock??

As title says perviously did the head gasket on my dads 1.8k freelander 3months ago which was a set off ebay but the gasket went also the head was skimm'd along with some damaged valves replaced any way along story short i have redone the gasket with a BGA gasket and shim from are local andrew...

Good evening everyone basically as the title says the EML never comes on not even when the ignition is on i have check'd fuses well the ones i think are for it but all look ok and have put a working bulb in the dials but still nothing am i missing something ? any help would be spot on cheers saul

looks like someone took the bulb out of the orange HDC light i have put this in and 3 lights are showing i have orderd 3 near sensors so hopefully once they are in it will all be good agen :D

theres a green HDC when you switch the ignition on then goes off after about 5 seconds and ok will wire it up to a switch but would this make a difference to the lights that are on mate ?

right mate just tried the HDC in 1st gear and the light stays off i removed the rubber gaiter from the gear stick and looks like someone has cut the cables off and there isn't anything attached to the gear stick this must of been like this for the past 4years as thats how long its been in the family
