The policeman whose car had slid down an ice covered road into flood water two weeks ago was happy with my vehicle's limitations when I pulled his car up the ice covered hill with my Landy shod with Mud Terrain tyres.
I'm pretty new to this forum but bloody hell!
"I slipped on ice"
"Should I sell my Defender and buy a Fiesta?"
"My postman's Kangoo van is better in snow than a Defender"
"I can't find winter tyres in my size"
"People are being beastly to me"
Man up fella for f*ck's sake!
You've got a...
2007 110 Puma - always starts first time whatever the weather. Had an issue with the central locking misbehaving in sub-zero temperatures but the engine has been faultless.
You can also get "boxes" for the back to give you some security for stored items.
I had a colour coded one added to my double-cab to ferry my dog about in; had roof vent and sliding side windows too.
You can just about see it on this pic
I have those Terrafirma ones fitted to my 110 and they're good. Very sturdy, you can jack the vehicle up with them. Fitting required a little bit of fiddling but I think most do.
Very happy with them and the Terrafirma tubular winch bumper.
Oh surely it would be more fun to ask "what are the biggest tyres I can get on standard suspension?"
Or "which is the best Cooper STT or BFG KM2?"
:D:D:D:D:D
Hello all. New to the forum, had my landy (110 DC Puma) for about 5 and a half years now and looking to make some changes to it. I hope to get some advice in here. :)
Cheers
