    How wet is yours?

Hang on a minute, you have heated seats and windscreen in your landy? That's just wrong, I'll never be buying a new one. That's why Defender windows are flat you know, so you can use the ice scraper on the inside too! You don't need heating! Buckshot, I just looked at your avatar. I don't envy...

    110 Hi-cap project

I'm really not sure where to start. I'm thinking of buying a tdi because the engines are so much better, but the chances are I'll find one in budget that doesn't need any work done yet. I guess I'm buying in the knowledge that one day I'll have to work on the thing! My first Landy was a...

    200tdi Chassis Swap

Crowblind. This is a cracking write up, thanks for sharing it with us. I'm thinking of doing the same job on a 110 Hi-cap at some point in the future so it's a really useful read for me. Can you shed some light on the rough cost of the project (assuming the mrs doesn't read this forum!)? Also...

    110 Hi-cap project

Hey guys, long time no speak! Last time I was on here I was getting really excited about a 90 project that I was planning. Well that fell through, the guy who was selling it did lots of work on it himself and it was too expensive. Now I'm having new ideas. I want to spend a bit more money...

    New guy hoping to learn

I'll post some pics as soon as I get it. I've not seen it myself yet so I have no idea what I'm likely to end up with. I'm told it's tidyish but needs some work. To be honest my main interest in it are the add-ons. I was planning to buy a scrapper for panels and parts and buy an engine, box and...

    New guy hoping to learn

That's an interesting one! Personally I want my 90 to look like a 90. Most of the appeal of a Defender is the look of the front end, so it will have to stay standard (apart from a tube winch bumper and maybe some roof mounted lights)

why would you buy a Defender when you could.....

Why? Because it's a Defender! I've had two, both 300tdi, and I loved them. Imagine rolling down a rocky hill in a metal dustbin, and when you get to the bottom your wallet is empty. That just about covers life with a Defender in my experience. They're uncomfortable, slow, noisy, expensive...

    New guy hoping to learn

Hi guys. I found your forum on Google and liked the look of it. I'm just in the process of buying a fairly tired 90, but it's got good kit on it. Internal roll cage, lift kit, V8 lump. I'm looking to fix it up to use as a toy, and hopefully either supercharge it or squeeze a Trans Am engine into...
