workshop manual or similar for P38

Opening the tailgate while the blade is vertical is the official method of stopping it while you change the blade. Maybe the rising up at traffic lights is just the EAS compensating for a leak. You probably won't notice it dropping as it's slower. Does it do this repeatedly?

    Eas Air Leak

Yes. In my case it was the 6mm hose directly from the valve block to the front o/s air spring. As it passed under the battery support it has rubbed through. I patched it up temporarily. I've since replace the whole length now and put some other thick hose around the 6mm hose for protection so it...

Need help with faulty cruise control plz

Sorry, that is the button I meant. Maybe if you hear a tick tick, then it's definitely electical. You should only hear a single click when you press it and it engages. I wonder if it could it be something stupid like the CC is thinking the brake is pressed.

Need help with faulty cruise control plz

When you press the CC switch do you hear a click as the relay pulls in? I have a fault with mine at the moment. The switch lights up, but I do not hear the little click like I used to. I have not had a chance to check any relays/fuses, but my hoses look fine too.

    Eas Air Leak

I had similar problem with my driver side front. I replaced the air spring only to find out later that it was the hose had been chafed through. When I was in traffic or stopped at a level crossing, I could see my front going up and down every few seconds. In the end I replaced the hose and...

EAS Pump rings. Are these any good?

Range Rover P38 EAS Air Suspension Compressor Pump Seal on eBay, also, Range Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Apr-08 13:24:51 BST) Are these anything special or is £20 for them just a con? As the pump is 10 years old is it worth changing these even if it seems to be working...

    I want a P38 but.........

The motorway setting is selected automatically when you have been driving at over 50mph for a certain period. It can be inhibited (for when you are towing) by pressing the button to the right, but you cannot manually select that height. As for the "access" level, that is manually selectable. I...

Please excuse the discoloured pillar. My flocking is wearing thin :( This is the view looking up from the back seat This is a closeup from the same angle. Are these the "rivnuts"? This is just a longer shot from the tailgate Since taking the dog guard out I had never really looked into...

    P38 dog guard

I sold a dog guard on ebay and when I took out the plastic mounting things it left two rectangular holes in the headlining. I could take a photo of the hole showing it's size and position if you want :)

P38 Temp. What shoul I be aware of ?

A fraction less than half way seems to be the norm. What do you think of it now you have it? Is it one you would have picked yourself, or is it a shed, but you don't want to hurt the wife and friend's feelings? :) 49k seems good for a 95

P38 4.6 Petrol: Mass Airflow meter. What symptoms?

Mine is never like that. Once it's through the dead spot it's off like a bat out of hell. Maybe I am expecting too much from a 2.5 tonne beast.
