SRS fault notice had gone today on first startup (re-appeared last night), then back a few miles later taking one of the dogs for a walk, then gone again...trying to remember where I left my soldering iron, solder and heat-shrink...

Yes, chill and damp...but then, the last time I had to replace the battery in a P38, it was a Serbian winter - now that's proper cold :cool:

I thought it had, but didn't have time to check properly before the MOT; started him up this morning for the short trip to the garage, and hurrah, no SRS fault or lights! But they came on during the test, so the friendly garage cleared the messages and fault lights, and apparently carried out a...

Well I used my newer charger; oddly enough, I borrowed my mother's Volvo on Saturday and its battery went completely flat, having not been used for a while, and it threw up an ABS fault! Have now charged that too!

New to me too, so no I didn't.

You boys laid the stones, I only followed the path :rolleyes: He is on charge overnight now, so fingers crossed, MOT expired yesterday! Need to fix this before he can get a new one :eek:
