Ordered a gallon of Dexron 3 fluid. Will be at the shop in the morning; Granville, apparently. Hope it's to the box's taste.

I'm going to buy some fluid tomorrow, only found a couple of litres in the shed. Once I know it's full, if there is drive then it's going for a clean out and new filter; if not, torque converter investigation and see where we go from there?

OK what kind of engine problem? I'd be surprised because a) I did try the 'rev the engine in neutral and bang it into gear' approach to getting him moving, and the engine starts and revs happily but the gearbox slams it to a stop; b) he moves in low range but not high range. I've just dug my...

I think yes and no. It was holding it fine to start the car anyway, but throwing up the OP error messages; having charged the battery nothing much has changed, starts fine, SRS fault still there so need to look at the wiring properly, but I think I need to start looking at prices for new battery...
