jgs- 4x4 sell a front prop repair kit on ebay. comes with 3 uj joints & the bearing for the Double Kardon joint. Works out about £71 but cheaper than a replacement prop

If its a R380 gearbox (reverse gear to the right then back), try MTF 94 Transmission oil (Landrover)

Wheel bearings are really expensive as they are a sealed unit complete with hub. But other than that prices arent too bad

There are aftermarket ones you can buy such as ALLMAKES but I cant say how relieable they are, I would take a chance with them myself as they are reasonably priced.

Take the plunge be brave, theyre not that bad to work on. Worth it for the comfort. Plenty of great people with fantastic knowledge on this site who are always here to help.

I justbattered the hell out of mine till they came off & didnt cause any problem, but I may have been lucky. You could use a 3 leg puller ok,I used one to pull my front hub off, so a brake disc would be easy

Yes you have read that on some forum but have you got any experience with a v8 on lpg? Mine gets no hotter on lpg than on petrol, it has done over 97k since conversion

Lpg doesn't burn hotter, it just gets hot quicker.

DISCO 2 axles are nothing like BMW X5. The X5 was built alongside our L322 Range Rover in Munich. They share parts, but not with Disco.

Any electrical fault can cause the 3 amigos

When we launched the Disco 2, BMW owned us, I think it may have been a cost cutting exercise, especially as a lot of people would never use it.If you look at any BMW, everything is an optional extra. Ford were the same, Now Tata own us you wouldn't believe how much better the cars are getting.

The first link, make sure they are quality though , They should be 8mm to drill spots correctly. The ones advertised on the ebay link seem to be ok looking at the amount they have sold. Its worth buying one to see how it goes, a quality one should last enough to easily drill out both wheel...

We call them spot breakers, dwfinately better than a normal drill bit as you dont end up drilling through the skin you want to save
