Any way to immobilise a 300tdi while moving?

To answer your question, yes. I have installed a eight chanel relay in to my 300 tdi. It is designed to remote start, stop, and some other extras. You can install this easily, with the option of bluetooth, infrared, or a couple of other wire less connections.

Gears crunch and creeps when clutch down.

Brake and clutch fluid becomes water logged after a few years and then it becomes fun. In brakes when this happens, as the water heats up,(due to use), it turns to steam therefore pushing fluid back in to the bottle, which inturn leaves gaps in the line, and crap brakes.

Wobble when accelerating and leting off

I would check the shocks for leaks then. :)

Wobble when accelerating and leting off

It is worth looking at the shocks as when they go they will give this effect. Also check the anti-role bar bushes.

    Uploading picture problems

I had the same issue, but I found it worked if I used photos up loaded on to the cloud. I think it is something to do with the size of the photos. Try down grading the size of the photos. :)

Gears crunch and creeps when clutch down.

Hi, as for causes, it could be several like: Water in the fluid Air in the fluid Dirt in the fluid For the above the best thing to do is to bleed it right through, it will only take 10 mins or so with two people. Or Seals gone on either the slave or master cylinder, if its seals you should...

Gadgets thread, what have you got!

No I agree but, dont forget she will be in salt water and this may add extra issues. I have redesigned the rear suspension set up and this will allow me to remove it easier.

Gadgets thread, what have you got!

Lol, she has to have a dual sump to be used in inshore waters, so she is not allowed to leak in this environment. Well I hope she wont.

Gadgets thread, what have you got!

I plan to fill the axels with grease, and have spare axels, as I realise she will get through wheel bearings, often, and I dont want to have to change bearings over a weekend. It will be a lot easier to swap the axels. :)

Gadgets thread, what have you got!

Well I work in Portsmouth and I live on the isle of Wight, and I a fed up with the ferries and the lack of choice on times etc.... so I decided to change that. It has developed along the way in to a lot more than that so in time I want it to do the channel crossing and we will see what else. :D

Cleaned up my chassis, should I be worried?

Chassis looks fine, for the moment, but I agree, it will get worse. Always clean any rust up with a wire brush / or a grinder. Coat it with Phosphoric acid (Rust eater) then protect it with good quality paint then stone chip over that in the hard wearing areas if you want it to last. Most...

Oh no, what have I done now...

I agree with PTK. If it is the 1.8 ltr K series, then it WILL BE, the head gasket. In my experience they tend to go about every 40, 000 miles or so. A couple of things you can check are: Refill the bottle and remove the cap, and rev the engine, sometimes you will see bubbles forming...
