has anyone ever seen two identical 'fenders for sale side by side and one be twice the price of the other?

looks like the left hand half shaft has gone west. try it (briefly) in difflock, my guess it will move on the front two wheels. reason its not moving when not in difflock is cos all the drives going the path of least resistance which is to the wheel with the knacked half shaft

so would the light on his dash which (supposedly) indcates when its in diff lock still come on in that situation?:confused::confused:

I woulda said rear half shafts, but when mine went, i could still move with difflock on. Not sure this adds much, but just putting it out there so brainier perople than me (thats most then) might comment further

lots of the ads for wheels n tyres on fleabay have a compatability table which might help you check if they will fit your car

I as just collected these for my 'fender: eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace I think they may have some more. Haven't fitted them yet, but have had good reports on these tyres. Not sure if they will fit a chavscovery, but I think so - you can check easy enuff.

I thought it was really good - but bear in mind I don't have much (any) experience of other sites to compare it to. Also, I wasn't driving, I was just ballast in someone else's vehicle. Having said that, there were about 25-30 club members there and they seemed to be having a damn good time.

I have just been on the hone to my pal asking if he had a torque wrench I could borrow - he didn't have one, but recommended a Clarke one from Machine Mart as a decent budget buy. Don't know if that's good advice or not, but saw this thread and thought I'd mention it....
