    Yeah I took a look at it yesterday looks like you have to remove the front bumper to get the headlight out though? Which seems like an awful lot of faffing haha I’ll pass on the FL2 then!! This one is causing enough temper tantrums :D

    It was.... *drum roll* the motor! But did check both the fuse and the power which was a good call as I hadn’t thought of that. Next job is replacing a headlight motor... so far I have been unsuccessful is anything on these freelanders easy to do!?

    Right! So I once again need some help have got the window and all the mechanisms out etc thought to be safe I’d check the motor on it’s own... plugged back into car without cables and no movement only beeps from the window button. Took the motor apart all seems ok plenty of grease still on there...

    Ok so have finally gotten the glass down!!! Now... the bolts on the window clamp are giving me some hassle can’t seem to get them to unscrew, am I being daft it is righty tighty lefty loosy?

    Honestly hate this window right now, as it’s stuck in the up position the short cable is tightly tucked behind the metal meaning I can’t quite get the wire cutters in :mad:

    Hi guys! Hope someone can advise before I loose all my sanity. Got an 04 Freelander 5 door, rear window of course doesn’t go down... so bought replacement cables watched the YT tutorials etc however... I can not get the window to lower so I can take out the bolts on the window clamp, I’ve tried...
