Argh! I think I have some copper grease spray I’ll pop that on and see if I can get something better, mpg has improved since changing the fuel hoses, now just to figure out why it’s pulling back slightly when accelerating… seriously, does it ever end!?

no idea what that even looks like :oops: however I think I’ve found the source of the leak, noticed the fuel hoses in the engine were really cracked… so have removed, and replaced, I’ve cleaned away as much of the oil as possible and we’ll see if that’s solved it

So had a poke about underneath seems the oil is coming from this join but can’t work out if it’s the join between the gearbox and ird or the oil sump, towards the front end there’s a lot of oil covering the starter motor etc

Ah ok fair enough, my other thought was possibly the fuel rail pressure sensor leaking as I did read a post online where someone had the same leak and it was that, I’ll have a cuppa and go investigate I suppose

Damn! Bought the part off eBay came off a 2004 Freelander so assumed it would be the same as mine, tbh I was guessing it was that that needed changing as the headlight makes a buzzing noise, all the lights work fine it’s just when you go to change the setting from 0 that it makes the noise

Urgh! Gutted cause I have such small hands I found I was able to remove parts from the headlight without having to remove the headlight and bumper etc went to remove the bumper and the screws in the wheel arch are rusted to the point there’s nothing to put a screwdriver in :mad:
