EGR Blanking plate ordered, just worried that the black smoke might not necessarily be from the pipe that I took off. I cant find where it goes.

Ok today I drove it and there is a lot of black smoke on acceleration. Worrying me now as I cant find where the pipe should go back onto?

I am running the Bosch maf but the car seems to run better with the compensator on. Finding it hard to work out whether or not it is much faster. Also seemed to proof more smoke out the back when I accelerated today.

Right had a look at the wiper since you pointed it out Brack. Im going to take my spanners out later to see if I can correct it. It does work ok. Gonna attempt to put in my synergy box as it is painfully slow :(

The wiper, I'm glad you noticed that. I wouldn't have known. I thought it was a design fault that meant when I open the rear window it wouldn't shut properly as the wiper stropped it. Just a case of removing the cover undoing a bolt and re positioning you think?

As soon as I get chance to detail my own car (In between customers - everyone wants it doing in the summer and there is only one of me). I'll set about this one as there are a number of scratches and bumps - not to mention that awesome faded plastic trim. Thats getting the heat gun to it ASAP!
