What did you use to re blacken the exterior trim? In the past I've used autoglym bumper gell but it tends to run about if it rains. I've also used a sealant on my plastic trim called autobrite abyss from their hell shine range. However, I'm not sure if this restores back to colour or just...

Ok buddy, yeah I'm a bit of an audio geek myself. Spent many hours making custom enclosures etc for cars I've had in the past. The current car didnt really need anything as it had a Bose 7 speaker system in. Not bad when its a 2 seater mx5 lol.

Cheers buddy, really like the car! Just hope it proves a decent buy. Expensive but hopefully worth it. The exterior is in very good condition. The interior is fair for its age. I could get a good balance of the two at a cheaper price ( with mechanical bits as they should be)

Ah, so it is more than just gear 1,2,4? Are all freelander autos the same. I will admit, I had no idea what I was doing. I know you guys said you could use both but when I first looked I assumed that it was the 1,2,4 bit. Handy to know. Ill have a play when I next see the car.
