Is the liner easy to remove/refit? I was checking the oil yesterday and noticed there was a hole in the liner which had been packed with leaves! Hope it’s not anything too serious and its occupant has left. I think I need to check it asap.

Battery dimensions are 325mm l x 175mm b x 220mm h on the one I took out of my TD5.

I replaced the rear wiper arm because it hit the rear window rubber surround. The new one does too so I think the problem might be a bent rear door. Never noticed before but the spare tyre sits at a slightly jaunty angle...

Quick update: I couldn't buy a new bleed screw from the LR garage because it's been superseded by the type that's in the TD5 and apparently, the screw position is now on the pipework rather than on the 3 way hose connector. They would be happy to sell me the new pipe and connector for about £100...

I've found out that it's a pinhole in the bleed screw itself that is causing the problem!

Mine's an auto and it doesn't make any difference whatsoever on my car! Quite strangely, I've fitted slightly oversize tyres and on the journey to my in-laws (approx 135 miles), it's still 22 mpg! How wierd is that?

I converted my V8 to solid ARB's, see listerdiesel's post above; this was because the system leaked all it's fluid on my drive and then the pump toasted itself. I didn't notice any difference whatsoever but the ACE system might have been knackered to begin with. Prepare for lots of fluid leaks...

Because the bulbs have a green plastic cover on them, they are (depending upon P & P) anywhere between £6.50 and £8 each! I've peeled the green off and I'll nip to to motor factors on Monday!

Do you know the wattage of the bulbs in the brown holders?
