My lock will lock fine it just will not unlock ie pop up. Does this mean anything Dennis

I have just bought a pin switch so I think I will do it the old fashioned way with the buzzer positive connected to the side lights power and the negative from the buzzer connected to the pin switch then earth when the drivers doow is opened. Does anyone know where the easiest place is to get...

Yes the ACE system has been done away with so perhaps the buzzer has been disconnected. If I reconnect the buzzer I suspect I will have loads of bonging from the chime etc. All I want is a simple buzzer for the lights on. Nothing seems to be simple these days. Thanks for your help Dennis

I have a 2001 Discovery 2 TD5 and I think the previous owner (probably for a good reason) switched off all the warning chimes in the BCU. I am ok with this but I would like a warning buzzer to sound when I leave my lights on and I either open the door or I turn off the ignition. I left them on...

I have done a bit more research and I don't actually think any of the chimes (bing bongs) are working. I wonder if this could be the speaker or perhaps the previous owner switched them off if this is possible. Any one any idea where the speaker is Dennis
