Sorry but what does IRD stand for?

Thinking of buying a FL with propshaft removed. How much are they and how much would a garage charge to fit it. Is it the sort of job a decent DIY er could do?

My Disco2 is 1999. Some had internals to take a Central Diff Lock (CDL) I was lucky- only had to get the mechanism from a Disco1 and fit it-result
