Took the hardtop off today to put on the "soft top"-think it's probably the first time it's been fitted. Don't think it looks too bad.

Just seen today a proper soft top-used-sold on EBay for £410 !!

I'm going to try to keep to my original 16" wheels. So I'd be interested in your mates tyre sizes Alibro. I've also got a Disco2 fitted with Insa Turbo Special Tracks and I know how noisy they are-(for sale once it's MOTed)

Right so now I've got this kit-40mm-from MuddyMods-(front and back)-so is it pretty easy to fit? Any tips when doing it to make life a bit easier? Front first or back? Any special tools needed? Any info/tips gratefully accepted.

I presume you mean the tailgate. No it was open most of the time this afternoon-I can't remember if I tried with it closed-I try in the morning-thanks for the tip!

Had problem with broken wire in tailgate window so ordered a complete mechanism. Fitted that today with window fully up. Soon as I switched on ignition window went fully down. Now it will not budge-up or down. When I press the down button all I get is the 4 gongs. Checked all the fuses. Gone...

So the first thing I want to do is a body lift-probably 40mm. Who has done one and is it pretty straightforward. Do you also need castor correction bolts for the front--and back? And last of all where is best to get them? Any info greatly received.
