I thought of using castrol 5w 30 for what it's worth, or 10w 40/ 15w 40 part synthetic diesel oil

Has to be something damp somewhere for it to steam up, even if its just your wet mats from ya feet, also if it was the heater matrix wouldnt there be no heat? Could be wrong there though!

Thanks for that, have you any number for them and rough guide for prices? Im not too bad with full engine swaps eg mi16 engine into a 205gti but have never ventured inside engines so wouldnt be confident enough! if anyone on here lives local dont mind paying them if the price is right

My disco 300tdi needs the cam belt changing, its done 68k. just wandered how much i should budget myself and can anyone recommend anywhere in the leeds/ bradford area? Also worth doing the water pump at the same time? i live about 5 mins from simmonites but iv heard mixed reviews about them!
