ah rite I'll have a look at LRO. I know its the matrix as when i replaced the hose in the engine bay and made sure it was nice and tight i couldnt understand why there was still coolant p*ssing out everywhere. Bit of investigation and the plastic bit of piping on the matrix which sticks...

never simple is it, replaced the pipe and noticed coolant dripping out the other end, and it is coming from the part of heater matrix which no needs replacing! just looking for a guide on here as its a dashboard out job ive heard? anyone point me in the rite direction

found it, the pipe from the head leading into the bulkhead had a split in it, ordered a new one from land rover, and patched up the old one with some pipe repair tape. thanks for your help and replies

Hi I have a K reg discovery 200 tdi, and today it has sprung a coolant leak somewhere towards the back right hand side of the engine, not had a proper look yet but is there many coolant hoses to check? any help much appreciated, i havent had it long

I have completed a semi fix today, by wiring in two new rocker switches so i can turn the interior lights on and off...however means the light doesnt come on when i open the door, but i can live with that.
