ok guys got a new one , i have changed the shocks tonight and the knocking noise is still there? i'm at a dead end, looked at the radius arms they didn't look to bad? any ideas?

i think i might just do the shocks then instead of the rubbers, i have the radius bushes sat on the shelf in the shed, looks like a big job so looking for the easy jobs first.... its going to end up being them lol i know it is

yes mate did that, i have changed the anti roll bar rubbers and i'm thinking of doing the bushes on the shocks next? then i'll look and the radius arm bushes if it still there

Hi Guys , changed the Watts Linkage bushes the weekend and Guess what? the Noise is still there back to the drawing board

Great thanks Guys i though that might have been the problem :mad: was hoping it was a cheaper fix? but oh well under the car the weekend we go i'll let you all know if it stops the noise

i have a disco 2 thet when it rains has more water raining in from the roof lining than out side the car anyone fixed this problem before?:confused:

I've had both my p38 was a lovely car and had all the normal faults, the L322 broke me, 4k gearbox goes around 90'000 miles , turbo went 2k to fit new one then 2 fuel pumps went with 3 injectors. 2k to put right all this in 6 months....... If you have a deep pocket it's a stunning car to drive...

Is the drain for the sunroof under the middle of the car?

hi Guys i have an oil leak on the drivers side also i was thinking it was todo with the oil pump on the front of the altenator? i have not had chance to look at the FPR yet, the question i would like to ask is my Altenator has oil in it and i thought it was from the pump ? would anyone think...

hi all i have changed my alternator recently on my td5 disco, since then i have had a oil leak? the oil leak seems to be comming from between the vac pump and alternator, can anyone tell me is there a seal between the pump and the altenator? thanks :confused:
