    you do mate yes - two holes just above the vent to locate two rivnuts and two holes in the window piller for the bracket.

    congrats mate - look after them and they will just keep going - took this last month in my 90 original engine! replaced the head gasket two months ago.

    To answer your question - i have one and it does the job fine at a large saving - got one on my TD5 and it runs spot on.

    mmmm see if it was a 300TDI i would be saying head gasket as it vibrates through the bulkhead and can sound like its coming from the gearbox - but with the TD5 i am not sure.

    went through MOT fine and only needed a track rod end, so i gave her a full service.

    That would make sence, i think i will go for a two inch lift - spring and dampers on the front and standards on rear.

    rust on your bulkhead near the brake servo is a fair one i think and i would have expected a fail - hard to tell from a photo but looks like there is more rust in the corner of the bulkhead. As to fixing i would have thought you could patch her up. The springs look far better than on my 90...
