Did you have it plated out of interest or a whole battery box replacement?

    Defender 300tdi Project

I have cut out a lot of the rot, but the more you look the more you find. Check the drivers foot well and that is solid but will remove the floor as the whole seat box will need to come out if I am going to do the clutch as well.

Discovery td5 fuel problem I think

Mick start with the easy stuff, change the fuel filter first and then prime the system - see how it runs after that, it sounds like air in the system to me. is your pump overly loud?

    Defender Td5 Running issues!

Now Fixed!! it was air in the system - the filter housing had become pourous and snapped of the chassis when i went to remove the filter - i bought a GORE alloy fuel housing (which is a work of art) bleeded the fuel system and all is well again.

    Defender Td5 Running issues!

i think it could be fuel related along - re-bleed the system and she starts and runs well and will go up to 70 nicely - turn her off and the problem comes back - will change the filter and pos fuel pump

    Defender Td5 Running issues!
