My 90 does the same, a loud sqealing noise, at full lock. It's just something they do, if it gets too bad try bleeding the PAS system to remove any air, that can reduce the volume.

Painted up a set of new tubeless rims, no more muckin' about with inner tubes for me!!:D

I've been trying to find a supplier online, but all I can find are motorbike parts. The fitting centres I've asked either say the don't sell them, or they won't sell them without fitting the tubes + tyres them selves.

Fitted a referb. kit to my steering drop arm. And that should be the end of the spring overhaul.:D

I got all the little instrument lights to work. It's amazing!!! I can see the seedo after dark now:).

Have you tried silicon sealant around all the joints and panels? I attacked mine with a tube of bathroom sealant I had in the shed and it's stopped the swimming pool appearing every time it rains.:)

I road tested my baby after finishing the engine swap (2.5TD to 200tdi). The phrase 'holly crap, this thing shifts!!' came to mind.:D:D:D:D Then I changed the oil in the gearbox, transfer box and axles. A good day.:bounce:

What makes of battery are people using who have two batteries in the box under the passenger seat? My battery takes up more than half of the space and is smaller than most I have seen. Or do people modify the box to take the second battery?

OK, curiosity won. :biggrin1: Torch and tape measure has revealed; The old TD turbo is a 2" connection, the 200tdi is 2 3/8" or 60cm

Cheers, that looks just the job:). Is it best to go for the high temp stuff or will the standard neoprene hose take the temperature? And, is it 2" pipe? (its a bit dark and cold now to go crawling around the engine bay with a tape measure :D)

I'll give it a try, but previous experience of local hydraulic suppliers has not been successful. They tend to back away muttering when told you want some thing to attach to a Landy engine.

Hi, My engine conversion project, 2.5TD to 200tdi, has come to a stand still at the moment, due to the fact that the airbox to turbo pipe I have is knackered.:( Does anyone have one they don't need or a suggestion of where to get one, or even an alternative to the original TD pipe?

I put on more bits than I removed.:D

I had a day off work, so I took my engine out:D. Now, what shall I do tomorrow?:scratching_chin: ((OK, I give up, how do you get pictures into your posts?)Ah-ha!! That's how)

:)Thanks for the comments, it feels better hearing other peeps experiences. I'm doing a 200tdi into a 2.5TD, and planning on swapping over the flywheel housings to get the best match on bolts and studs. The one thing I think will cause the biggest headache, is going to be the air intake...
