Finally got the brake master cylinder replaced and bled, brakes are fab now:). Proper temp sender fitted and heater working. all in all a good day:)

I just refilled the transfer box so it's not a problem with the filler plug. I was gonna try to take out the plug and block the hole with me finger and put the tape on the plug before refitting the plug. Or does the tape need to be applied dry?

My 90 handles like a school bus with a slow puncture. Good fun tho:)

I'm with heritage insurance and they are less than £100 fully comp for my defender with the mods declared.

The drain plug on my defender transfer box will only go finger tight so the threads are almost stripped. There is a constant drip of oil now. What's the best solution, helicoil repair or tap to a larger size? Any other suggestions great fully accepted. Cheers folks.:)

New gearbox and transfer box oil. What a difference:) Heater motor renewed and heater box refitted after painting the box and the bulkhead. Woohoo heat.

You could fix it to the wicker basket on the front. Won't the pedalling motion from side to side make you sick when watching it back tho:)

Well reminded, my stealer promised me one of those off road days when I bought mine but he hasn't been in touch yet. I will need to chase him up. Happy days.:)
