Which one do i go for?

Why not opt for a discovery 200 or 300tdi? You can pick up a disco for less than a grand if you look about that will pull the horses. If you can spend around 2k you can pick up one that would be tidy.

    R380 popping out of gear???

Well i reckon the low range lever problem is purely from lack of use and my old defender used to be a bit fiddly when selecting low. R380 popping out of gear???

Hi, i have not long bought an M reg 300tdi 90. Anyway, 1) when i select low range and then select 2nd gear for the first time it pops low range into neutral? Once you get going it stays in low range regardless then, it's just when you first select it. 2) When i come to a stop on a slope in 2nd...

    clutch problem!

Problem solved! There is a funny shaped bolt securing the master cylinder to the clutch pedal. If you rotate it, it adjusts the height of the pedal giving alot more travel! Wicked.

    clutch problem!

200tdi 1992 Discovery. Had recent new clutch. Clutch has alot of travel before it engages with a very low biting point. Master cylinder and slave cylinder has just been replaced and i was expecting a better clutch pedal performance but it is exactly the same??? Correctly bled. There is only one...
