Well funnily enough my D shape corsa broke down thursday with exact same problems, electrics went mad and then wouldn't start after i switched off, culprit was the alternator, your battery probably hasn't been charging and is flat as a fart.

I put RR classic springs on my old 90 and they did lift it but i'm not sure about puttung the front on the back and rears on the front?

Best thing to do is put in writing any mods and send some pictures of the vehicle. That way they can see what you have and should insure accordingly.

Well i'm not very techy with electrics, i wasn't sure what exactly the power via the wire was for but needs replacing. I have some 5 amp wire which will be adequate then. Cheers boydy

If you want it matt, easy to touch up, can't decide on a colour? Then there is only one thing for it, nato green paint! get the proper stuff too and you can't go wrong!!

In the end i went to JAWEL Paints (several branches throughout midlands) and bought a tin of Truckcoat Polyplus. Absolutely fantastic paint, nice gloss finish, really easy to apply, would recommend. I brush painted and would recommend a high quality brush.

Just like hughsey said, you learn to live with it. I had a disco 1 and it always did it, and it does it now years later! (neighbours bought it!). If your reducing speed and going 5th to 3rd it was at it's worst. Try slowing more before changing, or when changing down, clutch down, out of gear...
