cool thanks. i see from looking around that the 200tdi into a series is quite popular...... but i cant seem to find a donor 200tdi discovery for the engine, axles, and transmission :(

yeah thats what i was thinking... could add one of those truck style 'flaps' to it as well ;) the one im looking at isnt quite that rough. lol :)

If i was to put a 200tdi init what size exhaust would be recommend? would a 3in be too big?

okay... thanks for that. the only reason that i'm not keeping it standard is that it isn't in standard condition.... the front flares have been cut straight from the top of the wheel arches to under the lights, and i'm not really doing it up to showroom standard, or anything that would win...

i was talking to my friend Trailstar the other day about changing the engine in this series land rover, and he said you would need to change out the axles because the standard items wouldn't handle the extra power etc. Not that i would doubt his knowledge, but is this true? thanks.

okay....... maybe not thanks for the info so far... can you fit either a 200tdi or 300tdi in them, without too much work? I know that they are similar, but, is there a noticeable difference between the 300 & 200tdi?
